The Destroyer Project

The “Destroyer” is a high performance 18-foot dinghy sailboat designed by Donathan and his son Brendan and is in the process of being built with primarily recycled materials (wood, fiberglass, the mast, rigging, and just about everything on the boat). The “Destroyer” is joining our Called Higher fleet. The project models the importance of recycling, reusing, and repurposing materials putting an emphases on sustainability.

By adding the Destroyer Project to the Called Higher fleet, we hope to inspire positive change and share the importance of sustainability to the youth we work with, our local sailing community, and reach a broader audience with social media and our next feature length film.
